Let's be real: Blake Lively is most likely an android created in a lab somewhere to a) school us on the privileged-yet-tormented lives of the Upper East Side elite, and a) shame us for being physically and fashionably basic in every conceivable way. How do I know for certain that she's (allegedly) an android? Because the woman practically lives in Louboutins. In fact, we have very little proof that she leaves the house wearing anything else. The Loub love goes both ways; in fact, the brand named one of their shoes after her back in 2011. This explains why Blake occasionally seems to have exclusive access to new Louboutin styles, and also accounts for the unrivaled selection of Loubs in her closet.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN PIGALLE SPIKES PUMPS
$1,295
Here she is using the streets of New York as her personal runway during NYFW. She paired these spiked Pigalles with a gorgeous, poppy-appliqued Michael Kors dress. If you love this dress, the brand still offers several non-appliqued, completely 2D poppy-print versions of it. You know, for normals.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN PIGALLE FOLLIES STRASS PUMPS
$675
Blake wore these eye-catching, chunky crystal Pigalle Follies to the 2016 amfAR Gala in NYC, which she attended with her hubs Ryan Reynolds, of course. (Not pictured here. You KNOW what he looks like.)

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN FRONT DOUBLE PUMPS
$875
A few of these shots come from Blake Lively's 2015 Age of Adaline press tour, which was a celebrity designer fashion blitz like no other. Here's Blake, leaving an appearance on Good Morning America in a pair of shimmering, gold-toed Loubs paired with a dress and coat by Roksanda. This is a particularly bold fashion statement for pre-dawn.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN PYTHON BIANCA PUMPS
$875
Here's a photo of Blake just living her everyday life in NYC while wearing a pair of pink python Biancas. The steep arch of this 5.5" pump makes my head spin.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN LACE-UP BOOTIES

Black wore these suede Louboutin booties to a "fashion event" in Tribeca last February. Strangely enough, no one took the time to document what this event actually entailed, and no one other than our photo service seemed to even notice it happened.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN PYTHON PIGALLE FOLLIES PUMPS
$675 Here's Blake leaving her NYC hotel in a different pair of caramel-colored python Loubs. Blake's love of floppy hats is particularly well-documented, and unlike the other 95% of those who attempt to wear them, Blake can actually pull them off.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SO KATE OMBRE PUMPS
$675
Remember that bananas press tour I mentioned earlier? This is what Blake wore to her actual Good Morning America appearance: a tartan Marc Jacobs dress and jacket paired with shimmering ombre silver So Kates. The statement-making blue-and-yellow ensemble featured above is what she wore when she left. She wore exactly ten different outfits to ten different promotional appearances that day.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SO PRETTY LASER-CUT PUMPS
SHOP CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN VIA NEIMAN MARCUS
Finally, here's Blake leaving her hotel en route to make an appearance on Fallon. This was the very last outfit she donned on that epic, whirlwind, one-day press tour. She's wearing an off-the-shoulder Zuhair Murad dress, paired with beautiful laser-cut Louboutins. This is exactly the sort of "Princess Grace" look that Blake excels at. Just kidding, she excels at all looks, obviously. Because she's an android.

Sensible shoes are on the rise. Or is it just my age? There is no reason you need to look schleppy just because you care about foot health. Or not being in pain. You can totally rock these ergonomically sound shoes and still keep your style in tact. As a matter of fact, these five are so good, they prove “ergonomic” doesn’t need to sound like a bad word. Embrace it!
1. Saint Laurent Studded Denim Sandals: Clogs are definitely on-trend, but you don’t want to get too cloggy with your clogs. The incorporation of studded denim ensures you won’t look like you live in a windmill.
2. Isabel Marant Zia Leather Platform Sandals: You don’t have to sacrifice height for comfort. Retro-inspired and naturalistic, these are 2016’s update on the flatform.
3. Birkenstock Tweed Arizona Double Buckle Sandals: Talk about taking things up a notch! Yes, of course I pre-ordered these already. For a Birkenstock lover, the excitement I’m feeling is on par with that of a Chanel sample sale.
4. Christian Louboutin Studded Cataclou Platform Espadrille Sandals: I know; I did a double take, too. That’s right: Loubies that are genuinely comfy. And just as glam as many of his sky-scrapers.
5. Gianvito Rossi Cassie Platform Mule Sandals: If you simply won’t give up your heels, then opt for these chunky cork mules. Not only are they easy on the eyes and feet, but bonus: Bellbottoms are back, too!

One of the coolest things about fashion is thinking about your future plans and building your outfits based on them. During wintertime, less than a few months ago, we were all dreaming about springtime, and now that spring is finally here, we are already making plans for summertime. And what comes along with summer? Pool parties, prom and wedding parties, but also bonfires on the beach, of course! Along with summer come the impeccable combinations of sundresses and casual shoes, either with or without high heels (check out the coolest summer 2016 flats here!). Today we would like, however, to focus on party heeled shoes for summer 2016, as (at least) one pair of heels comes always in handy for any kind of summer party, be that a prom or your friend’s wedding. Although the correlation between high heels and summer mostly evokes unpleasant feelings, our small selection of 6 super comfortable heeled shoes for parties will make you change your mind for sure!
1. Flower Embellished Metallic Heel Sandals
If you really can’t stand or walk on stilettos, chunky heels will surely become your new best friends, as they effortlessly combine the feeling-at-ease factor with having one’s figure gracefully elongated. These will look just perfect with a Sixties-inspired t-shirt dress or a high-waisted pair of super-skinny jeans.
2. Gianvito Rossi Turquoise ‘Janis’ Sandals
Milan-based Gianvito Rossi, son of the iconic shoe-maker Sergio Rossi, always is a leader when it comes to the shoe industry, and this pair of turquoise blue suede ‘Janis’ sandals surely is smoking hot. IMAGES: LOEWE
A first for the Spanish leather house of Loewe, Creative Director J.W. Anderson wanted something that was young, easy and fun, and yet for it to have a collectible edge.
IMAGE: LOEWE
Combining characteristics of the classic bowling shoe with elements of the everyday sneaker, the shoes sport rubbers soles with either Napa leather or suede tops, while some others, like the Poly Galaxy Sneaker, come with the runway motif on printed leather.
And while I do like the ones that come with the runway print, I haven’t had the chance to try them on yet, so I really wouldn’t know how they fit or how comfy they are. For those who have, do leave a comment here; for everyone else, you’ll be pleased to know that they are now available in Singapore and priced from between SGD850 and SGD1150 a pair, depending on the leather(s) and the print.

GUCCI SHOES
FOR PRE-FALL 2016, GUCCI’S SHOES SKEW TOWARD THE UNCONVENTIONAL
Gucci is a brand that's more energetic than we've seen in years. Its handbags are playful while still maintaining a sophisticated structure and design, and under Alessandro Michele's vision, the brand's Pre-Fall 2016 shoes follow suit.
The collection, and to an extent, the new Gucci direction, draws on retro inspiration that Michele is so deft at making feel modern and of-the-moment; knee-high boots aren't just knee-high boots. As with the Pre-Fall 2016 handbags, you'll find playful appliqués and embroidery, as well as on some T-strap sandals. If you remember Gucci's Spring 2016 shoes, you'll notice many similarities, like striped platforms, spiked sandals and retro-inspired, lace-up flats.
Gucci's collection wouldn't be complete without Michele's signature pair of furry loafers, too, and you'll find more than one pair for your viewing pleasure below. Shop Gucci's current collection viaGucci.com

Designer Shoes
Sophia Webster is a British shoe designer, who has been making waves in the fashion industry since the launch of her eponymous label and footwear line back in September of 2012. This is a woman who knows shoes and what makes feet look great better than most, like the back of her hand. As such, it makes sense for the winner of the 2013 British Fashion Award for Emerging Accessories Designer to put out a guide for women everywhere to be able to get theperfect pedicure to match with their party shoes. With so many parties these days, taking over our days for the next week or so, heading up to January 6th and 7th for some cultures, we most definitely need an expert’s opinion on the matter.
How exactly do you go about perfecting the way your feet look on the night of the party?
First, begin with the shoe. You can choose anything really, but it is good to have it as a conversation starter, which means booties with the addition of glittery angle wings are certainly a go. “This time of year definitely warrants a glamorous statement heel—anything with a bit of festive sparkle, whether metallic, embellished details, or crystals,” Webster told Vogue. The shoes are the ones that should talk most, particularly if you opt for simplicity in dress. Why not try a black satin Rosalind with crystal encrusted beaded heels that scream ‘Let’s Dance the Night Away’ with gusto?
Once you have the shoe to the side, you will need the polish. Look at the shoe first and then decide on the nail polish for best effects. If the heels are black, a deep red is always a good choice; metallic shoes on the other hand call for nude nails. Pearlized varnishes are definitely handy and Webster has a thing for glittery lacquer styles with intriguing names. Go for those that are quick dry if you are strapped on time. Though there is no way you should leave the house without getting some form of color on there.
